MumsAid has won The Big Give and Rosa funding campaign where every penny we raise during the week of 8th-15th March, will be match funded up to £2500 meaning our total fundraising pot would be worth £5000!
What are we fundraising for?
During this week we will be running a number of events with our partners to raise money for our Young MumsAid service. YMA is the only specialist service supporting young mothers in the Greenwich borough and is highly regarded by social services, health visitors and midwives. With all funds raised we will provide a range of educative and fun trips, and experiences for vulnerable young mums to enjoy with their babies and peers. Giving them access to more positive experiences with their babies, we aim to stop the cycle of deprivation, improving their chances of having a better bond with their baby and reducing the risk of neglect/abuse.
How can you get involved?
From Saturday 5th March we will be running a number of events including an art auction, raffle, buggy walk and talk, cake sales, fitness classes and a whole lot more! When is it?
Donations open at midday on the 8th March and will be matched up until midnight on 15th March, anything donated outside of this time frame will be gratefully received but cannot be matched.
