MumsAid is delighted to welcome new Chair, Angela Morgan-Smith. She takes over the role from previous Chair Jill Thompson, who we would like to thank for her work and support to date.
Angela come to MumsAid with a wealth of experience in the charity sector, in both the roles of CEO and Trustee. Most recently, she was CEO of SMA UK, the UK’s leading charity for spinal muscular atrophy. Before that, she grew Leukaemia UK from a small local charity, building the foundations which have allowed it to become the thriving national organisation it is today.
Angela has also held trusteeships at Keep Britain Tidy, Homeopathy UK and Treasure Earth.
Prior to joining the third sector Angela was based in the international banking and strategy consulting sectors. She specialised in working with family-run businesses.
She lives in Greenwich with her husband and has three – now adult – children.
