MumsAid offers free group therapy to bring together mums facing similar issues so they can learn how to manage their own mental health and support each other.
The 10-week programme is run by an experienced psychotherapist using an evidence-based mindfulness-based stress reduction model (MBSR). This approach combines meditation and yoga techniques which are proven to help a range of mental health issues including postnatal depression, anxiety and stress.
Based at children’s centres in Greenwich, the therapy sessions include a free crèche.
We welcome self-referrals from mums and their families, as well as referrals from GPs, midwives and other health and social care professionals.
