Our partners

Effective partnership working is essential for achieving positive outcomes for the families we are helping. We work closely with other organisations that support mums and babies in Greenwich and surrounding areas and stay on top of clinical and policy developments relating to maternal mental health through our involvement in national forums and associations.

We are part of the Maternal Mental Health Alliance and an organisational member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

We are privileged to be working with a range of local partners to deliver our services:

  • Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich Mind. A charity that works alongside local people with mental health needs to improve their quality of health and runs a Mindful Mums programme to help pregnant women and new mums to look after themselves during pregnancy and the first year of birth. https://www.blgmind.org.uk/
  • Home-Start Greenwich. A leading family support charity, we provide services in some of their children’s centres and postnatal depression awareness training to their staff and volunteers. https://www.home-start.org.uk
  • Greenwich Action for Voluntary Service. Offers support and training for local voluntary and community organisations; we work with them to identify potential funders and delivery partners. https://www.greenwich-cvs.org.uk/
  • Greenwich Leisure Limited. A social enterprise that makes community services and spaces better for everyone and provides usus with rooms and creche support in two of the childrens centres that they manage. https://www.gll.org/b2b
  • More2 is a community-interest company (CIC) based in Greenwich, providing outstanding childcare and learning opportunities and play for children (More2Nurseries).  The group also includes More2Work which provides low cost training to local parents as well as support to find family friendly work.   • MMHA is a charity and coalition of organisations that are working together to improve the lives of women and families in the UK affected by perinatal mental health difficulties. https://maternalmentalhealthalliance.org/
  • The Motherhood Group support and share the black maternal experience through peer support, advocacy, workshops and events. We support the work that they do and provide counselling to the mums in their network. https://www.themotherhoodgroup.com/
